Tenant Screening Products
Credit History
Credit history is reviewed by obtaining a credit bureau report from a national credit bureau/repository. ScreeningONE has direct private
connections to Experian and TransUnion credit bureau systems. These bureaus are repositories of credit and debt information, as well as
public records such as bankruptcy proceedings, collection accounts and civil litigation records.
Social Security Number Trace
Social Security Number Trace is achieved through a search of consumer records contained in the credit bureau files to verify the
number and owner’s name and report any addresses associated with the number. This information can be compared with the
relevant residential address history on the employment application to ensure the accuracy of the records provided by the applicants. A Social
Security Trace is an excellent investigative “starting point.”
Eviction Records Search
ScreeningONE searches evictions, liens and judgments filed from all 50 states. With an Eviction Records Search, you get direct matches
for your applicant instantly. The national eviction search provides automated analysis of millions of county and statewide eviction
records that are collected and uploaded to the database daily.
Standard County Courthouse Criminal Records Search
The majority of criminal record searching is done at the county level and ScreeningONE believes this is the most accurate method of
securing criminal record information. County Criminal Record History is checked through a search of court records by county to
locate any record of conviction. ScreeningONE accesses county criminal records via computer-based searches or in-person searches, based
upon the jurisdiction. The search locations are selected based on information provided within the social security number report, information
in the employment application, or designated by the client.
Comprehensive County Courthouse Criminal Records Search
ScreeningONE’s Standard County Criminal Searches are typically done at the general jurisdiction court level via a public access terminal or directly
from the court clerk. Some counties file misdemeanors in separate physical locations from the felonies. And these municipal, justice and lower county
jurisdiction courts can sometimes be located miles apart.
In cases where misdemeanors are housed separately, ScreeningONE’s Comprehensive
County Criminal Search will allow you to receive all misdemeanor records regardless of where they are located. This expanded misdemeanor search offers
a more comprehensive criminal history. ScreeningONE searches the additional misdemeanor courts as necessary and retrieves ALL felony and misdemeanor
records within that jurisdiction for the past 7 or 10 years. ScreeningONE’s Comprehensive County Criminal Search provides you with the most complete
criminal record report available.

Statewide Central Repository Criminal Searches
State Criminal Record History is checked through a search of court records by state to locate any record of conviction. When conducting a
statewide background check, ScreeningONE searches both state felonies and state misdemeanors. ScreeningONE believes the most accurate
method of securing criminal record information is by accessing this information at the county level, but a statewide repository search can
be an effective means of gathering criminal information because it provides the benefit of searching all counties within a given state; however, not
all states offer a statewide search.
National Criminal Records Search
A National Criminal Search is a comprehensive search of multiple criminal record sources, including federal fugitive files, state and
county criminal record repositories, prison parole and release files, sex offender data and records from other state agencies. This
exclusive criminal search includes access to more than 200 million criminal conviction records across the United States.
Federal Criminal Repository Search
A Federal Criminal Search will return convictions for violations of federal criminal laws, including federal criminal fraud
statutes, drug trafficking, conspiracy, counterfeiting and a number of violent crimes. Federal Criminal records are maintained
in federal courts and are completely separate from the state courts systems. Federal criminal records are searched by name
only and the results are reviewed against other identifiers such as date of birth, social security number or driver’s
license number. Federal criminal reports usually include the jurisdiction searched, the individual’s personal identifiers as they appear
in the case file, the file date, charges, disposition, disposition dates and sentencing information.
Sexual Offender Searches
Sexual Offender Searches are currently available in all 50 states. Individual State Sexual Offender searches provide information
on sexual offenders who are required to register in the state in which they reside. Information returned from these inquires may
include; name, aliases, dates of birth, residential addresses, employers, location of conviction and specific sexual offense.

Employment History Verification
Employment History Verification is obtained through direct contact with a supervisor or a Human Resources representative to
obtain the name of the employer, dates employed, job title, job performance, reason for leaving, eligibility for rehire and
other pertinent job-related details as available. ScreeningONE has created a verification program to obtain pertinent information
from previous employers. The flexibility of this program enables clients to obtain any additional information that is not
included in our comprehensive scan.
Rental History Verification
Rental History Verification is obtained through direct contact with the property manager or landlord of the previous residence
provided by the applicant. Through this investigation, ScreeningONE obtains information and insight into an applicant’s previous
rental history.
Civil Records Search
A search of the upper and/or lower court records provides a report of any civil litigation listed on the index involving a particular
individual matched by name only. Results include the names of plaintiff and defendant, date filed, type of action, and current status or
disposition. The standard civil index search encompasses the last 7 years of activity within each court. We also offer a 10 year civil index search.
OFAC (Global Terrorist Search)
ScreeningONE searches the Department of the Treasury's database to identify individuals and organizations which have been sanctioned
and whose assets are subject to freezing. The purpose of this database is to prevent businesses from providing financial support to
terrorist and drug-trafficking foreign nationals and organizations.
